Feast for 150 years of the Unification of Italy Hippodrome Arcoveggio Bologna

 In the splendid setting of the Hippodrome Arcoveggio Bologna, was evoked the atmosphere of celebration and joy that enveloped the many Italian cities, the proclamation of the Kingdom of Italy, the 17 March 1861, which sanctioned the achievement dell'agognata National Unity. So, as was customary in those days, Celebrations were organized everywhere and Great Balls, public and private, where knights and ladies were able to show off their best clothes, embellished with tricolor cockade, and launch into whirling waltz, mazurkas romantic and fascinating quadrilles. The dancers of the Company of Dance Bolognese have recalled one of those dances performing a selection of dances of nineteenth-century tradition in vogue in those years, including waltz, mazurche, contraddanze and Quadriglie, trying to revive and give the audience the joyful feelings of that time.
