Great Ball of Dawn 2019 – Forli

Saturday 23 November atPalazzo Albicini, the clubhouse of the Art, the Società di Danza - Circolo di Romagna also organized this year the Grand Ball of Dawn. For the Bolognese associates the event has become an eagerly awaited event, which they wish to participate in large numbers. The dance takes its name from the fresco of Charles Cignani depicting the Aurora present in the ballroom. For nearly three hours, in richly frescoed rooms, in the light of the beautiful chandelier that adorns the hall magnificently, the many dancers had fun taking turns in Waltz, mazurke, quadrilles, country dances and marches. The dances were accompanied by the sound of the piano and the harp, recreating the magical atmosphere typical of the nineteenth century evenings. In the middle of the dance was served a rich snack, where there have been flavored teas, delicious cakes and biscuits. At the end of the dance, in adjacent rooms is followed dinner, which ended with a magnificent cake. The Romagna club has this year celebrated the tenth anniversary of its foundation. For the occasion paid tribute to all the dancers with a special gift and refined: a shot glass glass coaster combined with embroidered linen, remember the pleasant moments of the past.
