Grand Ball New Year's Concert 2018

 
Grand Ball New Year's Concert 2018 - Podesta Bologna Motor Show - The Company of Dance organized, in the Salone del Podestà of Palazzo Re Enzo in Bologna, one of the largest existing historic halls in Italy, the Grand Ball New Year's Eve concert to celebrate the New Year, with the participation of dancers Società di Danza in 19th century costume, from all over Italy.

The event was organized in collaboration with some important Onlus Bologna, l'A.G.E.O.P. (Parents Association Pediatric Oncology Hematology), l'A.I.A.S. (Italian Assistance Association for Spastic), l'A.I.D.O. (Italian Association of Organ Donors), the BolognA.I.L. (Italian Association against leukemia, Lymphoma and myeloma Bologna Onlus), l'A.I.R.C.  Committee Emilia Romagna (Italian Association for Cancer Research), the Fa.Ne.P. (Families Pediatric Neurology Association) the A U.I.L.D.M. (Italian Union Fight against Muscular Dystrophy), in favour of which will be donated the proceeds of the event.

The dancers have revived the charming atmosphere of the society of the time, dancing quadrilles, waltz, contraddanze, mazurkas and polkas to the music of great Italian and foreign composers performed by 'Orchestra Arké, composed of young musicians from Bologna, conducted by Maestro Enrico Guerzoni.

The event was organized under the patronage of the Emilia Romagna Region and the Municipality of Bologna.
