Saturday 24 September in Via Rizzoli, the Società di Danza Bolognese achieved the nineteenth-century Grand Ball under the two towers as part of the event organized by Salsamentarie TASTED S.r. l. and promoted by ASCOM to celebrate140 years since the Foundation of mutual Salsamentari 1876.

In one of the most beautiful frames of Bologna, attended the event a hundred dancers dance society in 19th-century costume, from all over Italy.
The dancers, they didRelive the fascinating atmosphere of the society of the time, dancing quadrilles, waltz, contraddanze, Mazurkas and polkas on the music of great Italian and foreign composers like Verdi and Strauss.

The event tookunderway at 16,00 by the Officers of the army, located on via Marsala n. 12, place where in 1876 It was founded the Mutual Salsamentari, with a Promenade that, along independence Street, flanking Piazza Maggiore has come in via Rizzoli, where at 16.30, began on 19th-century Grand Ball.
