Great Ball of Dawn 2017 – Forlì

 
Sunday 18 November atPalazzo Albicini, the clubhouse of the Art, the Società di Danza di Romagna club has this year organized the Grand Ball of Dawn, attended by numerous Associates bolognesi. The dance takes its name from the fresco of Charles Cignani depicting the Aurora present in the ballroom. For nearly three hours, richly frescoed rooms in the many dancers had fun taking turns in Waltz, mazurke, quadrilles, country dances and marches. Many dances were accompanied by the sound of the piano, recreating the magical atmosphere typical of the nineteenth century evenings. In the middle of the dance was served a rich snack, where there have been drinking chocolate, cakes and cookies. At the end of the dance, in adjacent rooms is followed dinner, adversely affected by a beautiful and delicious cake. This year was especially nice and the tribute given to the dancers: a stamp with the initials of each for use on wax.
