April dancing 2019 – Participation of members Bolognese

 

 

XXVII° Stage Pasquale 2019

 

Finally comes the Easter and with it the annual Passover Seminar nineteenth-century dances and Scottish dances, now in its XXVII edition. Three days of intense study and happy life together.

During the three days are studied new dances which will form the repertoire of the Dance Company.

The Scottish lessons have seen the teacher's participation guest Mo. Mervyn Short (Royal Scottish Country Dance Society) and Ian Robertson musicians (violin) e Andrew Nolan (piano).

The internship is an opportunity for those who already dance from time to deepen and improve technique, learn new moves. For those who are in the first year it is an opportunity to make a lot of new knowledge and learn various teaching methods.

This year the traditional Easter Seminar was held in Castel San Pietro Terme (will), on the first hills around Bologna, at the Castle Hotel.

 

Great dance in Villa Veneta

 

Sunday 28 April Padua circle of Dance Company organized the Grand Ball in Villa Veneta, at the beautiful Villa Foscarini Rossi a Strà. The villa is part of the villas of the Brenta and is right next to the very famous Villa Pisani. The villa also houses the Rossimoda Shoe Museum, in which are exposed about 1500 models of women's shoes and a small collection of Venetian shoes of the '700 and' 800.

The Bolognese members did not let slip the opportunity and decided to participate in large numbers. The morning was dedicated to the visit of Villa Pisani. Before the dance could take part in a guided tour organized inside the Shoe Museum in the afternoon and finally took part in the Grand Ball. At the end of the dance a buffet snack was served inside the rooms of the villa.

The Bolognese members, were thrilled event, They have already booked for the 2020 edition.
